Ticket Packages for 2012 US Olympic Team Trials – Swimming to Go on Sale One Year Out.

Ticket packages for the 2012 US Olympic Team Trials-Swimming are set to go on sale June 25, 2011 through Ticketmaster outlets (charge by phone and www.ticketmaster.com.) The Trials will return to Omaha, June 25 through July 2, 2012 in a temporary pool inside the Qwest Center Omaha. All Session ticket packages range from: $1,000, $525, $425 & $325.

Omaha was selected as the host of the 2012 Trials based upon the overwhelming success of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Swimming. During the eight-day competition in 2008, 163,000 Trials tickets were sold and an average of more than 12,000 fans attended finals each night. In addition, swimmers competing at the meet set a total of nine world records and 21 American records.

Look for further information regarding tickets, hotel and volunteer information for the 2012 Trials early next year at www.omahasports.org and www.usaswimming.org.

When will the 2-4 days ticket packages to the Olympic trails be sold ? Not many of us will want to come to the full 9-day event, but rather 2-4 days. Obviously, you will want to sell as many tickets as possible… but sell tickets that do not get used will not help the success of the event.

I’m interested in buying 2-4day ticket packages. Please publish at least an estimate of when these might go on sale.
