Baseball Championship Stays Put in the Middle of America

Since 1950, Omaha has hosted hundreds of collegiate baseball teams and over 6.2 million fans from around the country. 

The College World Series has become a tradition in Omaha, one that is built on sportsmanship, fan support, enthusiasm and celebration. And thanks to negotiations by city officials and the help of the Omaha Sports Commission, this great sporting event is currently guaranteed to stay in the middle of America through 2010.
