GOLD MEET

September is pediatric cancer awareness month. Join the Omaha Sports Commission, Creighton University, Omaha and Angels Among Us as the Platte River Rumble goes gold to raise awareness of pediatric cancer. Each year, pediatric cancer impacts more than 120 families right here in our community. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, life seems to stop. Expenses don’t. This is where Angels Among Us comes in, providing more than $6.5 million dollars in financial support pediatric cancer families over the last 20 years. 

This year, we will honor one young fighter before each race, having them serve as the honorary lead cart driver.
