COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (WOWT) — The Rio 2016 Olympic Games are only 100 days away, but before swimmers can take gold in Rio, they’ll need to make a splash in Omaha. We are 60 days away from Omaha.

The final countdown is on for the 2016 Omaha Cup and the
2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials coming to CenturyLink Center Omaha this summer!
SwimMAC Carolina will have a strong presence at the U.S. Olympic Trials, bringing around 30 competitors from its club team and about a dozen more Charlotte-based swimmers to Omaha.
The pool for the U.S. Olympic Trials will reflect some minor technological changes since the nation’s best swimmers last visited the CenturyLink Center. Two specific innovations also will alleviate some of the time and difficulty involved in constructing the 50-meter pool, which recently began its shipping journey from Castiglione, Italy.
NBC Olympics will present an unprecedented 76 hours of coverage of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials across NBC, NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra – including more than 60 hours of coverage in primetime – in the months leading up to the Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Nebraska’s best high school wrestlers will compete for individual and team crowns, during the 2017 NSAA Wrestling Championship. Wrestlers take the mats February 16-18 at CenturyLink Center Omaha.
Omaha has been selected to host the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships on August 13-14, 2016. The event venue is centered in Carter Lake with a scenic bike course along the river and a run course inside TD Ameritrade Park.
The 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming will be held Sunday, June 26, through Sunday, July 3, 2016, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the CenturyLink Center Omaha.
Omaha will host the joint Longines FEI World Cup Jumping and FEI World Cup Dressage Finals, March 27 – April 2, 2017 at CenturyLink Center.
